Patient education

Overuse injuries.

Overuse injuries often develop when training, work demands, or repetitive activity outpaces the body’s ability to recover.

What patients notice

Symptoms may start as soreness after activity, then progress to pain during activity or discomfort that affects daily routines. Common examples include tendon pain, stress reactions, plantar fasciitis, and recurrent muscle strains.

Why early evaluation helps

Identifying the irritated tissue and the load that is driving symptoms can prevent a small problem from becoming a longer recovery. Dr. Jones can review training history, mechanics, strength deficits, and recovery habits.

When to schedule

Schedule a visit when pain keeps returning, symptoms last more than a couple of weeks, or you need a safe plan to stay active while recovering.
