PRP education

PRP for golfer's elbow.

Golfer's elbow is pain at the inside of the elbow where the forearm flexor tendons attach.

How PRP may help

For chronic medial elbow tendinopathy, PRP may be considered when symptoms continue despite bracing, therapy, strengthening, and activity modification.

Evidence note

Direct PRP evidence is stronger for tennis elbow than golfer's elbow. Dr. Jones can discuss whether PRP is reasonable based on ultrasound findings, chronicity, and prior treatment response. Elbow PRP evidence includes randomized lateral epicondylitis research such as Gosens et al., 2011.

When to schedule

Schedule if inside-elbow pain limits golf, throwing, gripping, lifting, or work tasks.
